EXPERIENCE THE GAME
Experience the Game was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of a live sporting event.
Founded by father-son duo Michael and Alex Sheck in 2013, Experience the Game was built on a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of a live sporting event.
For Michael and Alex, some of life’s greatest memories were created through sports — from road trips and stadium visits to unforgettable moments shared together as father and son. In 2007, a seven-day baseball trip to the West Coast became the inspiration for what would later become Experience the Game. Over the course of one week, they attended seven games at seven different stadiums, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
That trip also sparked an important realization: not every child has the same opportunity to experience professional sports up close.
That idea became a mission.
Since launching as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Experience the Game has helped hundreds of kids ages 7–18 attend unforgettable sporting events across the country. Today, Experience the Game remains committed to creating meaningful experiences, lasting memories, and moments that remind every child they belong in the game.
